Born
and raised on the Northside of
Chicago , Jack developed
a love for music. From
traditional Chicago style Blues
to visiting a local landmark
Kingston Mines as well as clubs
like The Avalon and The Thirsty
Whale where he found his love of
Rock/Hard Rock /Metal music
watching some of the best local
and national musicians passing
through these clubs. “ I would
go to the Avalon on a Wednesday
night and watch Jake E Lee take
the stage with
Ace Frehley. Lillian Axe,
Dee Snyder's Widow Maker and Zakk
Wild, I mean such great bands
have played these clubs as well
as some of the best local talent
and acts you will ever see.
Chicago is a great city
for talent. "
Finding his passion for singing
at the tender age of 8 years old
he would go around singing to
the records his parents would
play. “ I would grab a hair
brush or a spoon and start
singing to the records and at
times standing in front of the
mirror practicing stage moves
when I was done playing a Kiss
record. And when I saw
Bon Jovi back in 86 And
how the crowd took to what he
was doing I thought yep, that is
what I want too do!! There was
just something about singing
that just got into my soul and
has never left even till this
day it’s something that will be
a part of me until my journey on
this earth is over. “
Jack
has had some minor success in a
few
Chicago based bands such
as
Without Warning, Khaos
Theory, and a few cover bands,
but the biggest one being
Chicago’s own Hairbangers Ball
and their sister band
Hairbangers Too later named
Monsters Of Mock which he toured
nationally with for almost a
year. “ I had a great time
singing with Hairbangers Ball it
was a memorable time for me and
one I will not forget. They are
a very well oiled machine and
know how to throw a party and I
thank them for the opportunity
they bestowed upon me giving me
the chance to play great venues
( Copper Dragon!!! ) and playing
to thousands of people during
the course of time I filled in
for them. they are a great band
and musicians.”
When
not singing or writing music,
Jack is a painter by trade and a
single father of two boys. ”
There is nothing I love more in
this life then my two boys; they
are my reason for living. “
Jack
is looking forward to what this
new project with Steve will
bring. “ He is one of the nicest
guys I know and one of the best
guitar players you will ever
hear. He is very passionate in
his playing and writing
abilities and it shows in his
music. We get along well
together and that makes for a
good band and great friends and
some of the stuff we are writing
isn’t bad either... “ ( smiling
)
I
can’t wait for the CD to be
finished and maybe start playing
a few shows here and there, It's
going to be a great time!
